ABOUT THE VAULT BY VOLPE BERINGER

The Vault by Volpe Beringer is an online designer luxury resale store founded by Philly designer and Project Runway’s Season 18 runner-up Nancy Volpe Beringer.  At age 64, Nancy made history as the oldest ever designer on the show and paved her way to the Project Runway finale through her creativity, determination, and quest for melding sustainability and inclusivity. She presented the first-ever zero-waste NYFW Project Runway finale with models of all sizes, races, gender identities, and abilities.

Nancy’s Project Runway experience strengthened her determination to promote more diversity, sustainability, and inclusivity in the fashion industry. Her first step began with herself. Having worked in a corporate-type setting for years, Nancy collected many designer pieces, handpicked from consignment stores throughout the world. After years of compiling an impressive collection, Nancy decided to create her own online consignment store, with clothes from her personal closet and those of special friends made along her journey, but with an innovative twist by featuring the first-ever adaptable design resale shop.

The Vault by Volpe Beringer, which is filled with luxury designer resale clothing and accessories, caters to people with or without a disability. The online shop features a unique drop-down menu of adaptive options available. The site also offers a virtual consultation upon request to ensure that the client’s unique needs are met. Nancy feels it is imperative that all of these services will be offered at no additional costs.

“Fashion is about empowerment and expressing individuality and everyone should have the same accessibility to do this in a sustainable way”

— Nancy Volpe Beringer
